Our Mission

To teach students how to grow native trees and foster a lifelong awareness of the importance of biodiverse forests.

Our Program

Seeds to Saplings is an educational program that empowers children to understand and improve the ecosystems around them. By participating in our program, students learn how to collect local native seeds, grow them into saplings, and plant them locally. Seeds to Saplings supports students and teachers with simple instructions, tips, and resources. Students will grow into advocates who are prepared to protect biodiversity and respond to the climate emergency. Connect with us today to create a healthier future for our children and forests!

Seeds to Saplings runs in partnership with the University of Toronto’s Institute of Forestry and Conservation.
